Daniil Kvyat and Jean-Eric Vergne both were point scorers at the end of British Prix. First finish in top ten, a double was recorded after the opening round in Australia of the 2014 FI World Championship of FIA. The drivers are quite happy with their performance.
For Kvyat it is his first Grand Prix of the British. It has been a remarkable performance for him and his team. The experience at Silverstone was enjoyed thoroughly by him. Autograph sessions were in line for him. It has been a good run even after the race was stopped due to the accident of Raikkonen. As the race began again his focus was back and placed ninth. Two cars in top ten was a good result for the team.
Two positions high in the standing of world championship, Jean-Eric Vergne stated that in Force India a collision of the lap with Sergio Perez led to spin and due to which he lost time. He chased hard to be in top ten but he would have certainly liked more than one point. But it was important for the team and that is what matters.
Renault’s Toro Rosso has been seventh in the standings of the Constructors. Kyat states that there should be more points to challenge for at the ring. The season has also gone well and Renault trying hard for making V6 engine more competitive. The developmental work of the charged turbo of the Renault V6 is in continual striving.
Several changes in the division of the motorsport have been announced by the manufacturers before the Grand Prix of Silverstone. The work on the power plant of the technological based 2014 is continuing. Lot of positives for the team and the cars is seen from now itself.
